About Khae Rhodes

Khae Rhodes, born Kimberly Leckie, is a Jamaican visual artist born in Kingston and raised on the island with her parents and siblings.

Her love for art began in primary school, where she was first introduced to the creative process and quickly fell in love with it. A largely self-taught artist, Khae draws inspiration from her Jamaican upbringing, personal experiences, culture, colour, memory, and the stories woven into everyday life.

With a professional background in marketing and communications, Khae brings a distinctive approach to visual storytelling, blending her creative perspective with the experiences that have shaped her. Her vibrant pieces explore familiar subjects through fresh perspectives, inviting audiences to see everyday moments, places, and experiences in new ways.

Khae is an exhibited artist whose work has been showcased at the iconic Bob Marley Museum in Kingston, Jamaica, among other exhibitions.
